Brewers Offseason Update

The Brewers have made some nice moves in the off-season so far. Nothing huge but some moves. K-Rod accepted arbitration so he will be back next year. The Brewers now have their new Shortstop as well in Alex Gonzalez. Look for the Crew to make a few more moves as the off-season progresses. Maybe A-Ram??

  1. I'm now more pessimistic about the Brewers' upcoming season than ever. Even if Braun somehow avoids being suspended, the Crew appears to be doing a complete 180 from last year. The team always has been loaded with head cases. And now you can add tons of cancers like Nyjer "Narcissistic Freak Show" Morgan, K-Rod, Aramis Ramirez, Mat Gamel, and Zack Greinke, too. When the going gets tough, watch for the cancers to completely destroy the season. The Brewers have absolutely no leadership on this current roster. This team will be lucky to win 70 games next season. I hate our offseason moves this year as much as I loved them last year. Oh what a difference a year makes!

  2. I'm not sure I can agree with you at all there. I'm pretty happy with what we've done. We can't always just judge a player by their character. You know Nyjer wants to be here, we can always send Gamel down if he starts throwing coolers. Greinke doesn't bother me. I think A-Ram and K-Rod are going to help this club a ton this year. You have Veras then K-Rod then AX man. thats pretty good for the seventh, eighth, and ninth innings. A-Ram can provide numbers near Fielder hitting in the clean up spot, and him in braun (providing he is not suspended) would make a pretty sick 3-4 combo. Plus we have a SS who can play defense.
